Love Yourself Enough ðŸ’‹

These words are sometimes taken for granted. But if you look deeply inside them, they are so heavy and deep. But I just want to first explain what is it to love yourself.

Love yourself is to accept yourself in any way, shape or form. To love yourself is to come to terms with those aspects of yourself that you cannot change.

But what does loving yourself enough mean?

It mmeans immunizing yourself with criticism. Believing you’re the best. Having excessively positive but ultimately delusional ideas about what you are rather than realistic knowledge of who you are. It also means seeing yourself as a whole.

Selflove means to have self-respect, a positive self image, and unconditional self acceptance. Needless to say, it doesn’t mean to be arrogant, conceited or thinking that you are better than anyone else. It means having a healthy regard for yourself knowing that you are a worthy human being.

It is important to know that no one perfect. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses and we certainly possess the resources to work on improving ourselves. In order to appreciate yourself it is up to you to discover what makes you unique and to further develop those talents. We have a responsibility to ourselves to do so.

You cannot sit around and wait for approval from others. Work on ACCEPTING yourself sis. You are the only “you” that you have. It is your best interest to be the best you can be. And real talk is until you love yourself enough, you will not be able to love anyone else. You can only love another to the degree that you do to yourself.
